Fife Learning Project

What can the project offer me or someone I am working with?

Fife Learning Project works with adults over 16, resident in Fife, who identify as disabled or a carer, to learn new skills such as literacy or digital skills. We have a great team of volunteers who can support learners one to one. We also offer support to small groups who meet at local accessible community venues. Our services are free, person centred and confidential.

You can contact Dawn our local Learning Coordinator on 01333 360672 or email drobb@lead.org.uk with the contact details of the person you wish to refer.

How can I volunteer to support this project?

We are always looking for more volunteers to support our projects. We have a range of roles that can suit your available time and experience. We can provide training, out of pocket expenses and opportunities to our volunteers which are as fulfilling as they are rewarding. Please email Gail at gphillips@lead.org.uk  for an informal chat and a starter pack. For more information please see our volunteering page.

Quotes from our Fife learners, “I enjoyed doing the work and money exercises with the group” , “I feel I have got better with using money. I enjoyed the learning sessions”, “It was very good”, “Thank you for all your help!”

Quote from one of our Fife volunteers, “It is great. When you meet someone that is lacking in confidence and skills and you see them as a person blossoming, you can’t beat it!”.
