Our funders and partners

We are grateful to the Scottish Government and Education Scotland who make a significant contribution to our core infrastructure costs.  We regularly meet with other strategically funded partners to join up thinking to improve adult learning policy and practice in Scotland, promoting this within UK and European forums.  Lead’s CEO co-chairs the Family Learning Working Group as part of the implementation of the Statement of Ambition for Adult Learning.

Local projects are gratefully funded by our local authority partners. Moray College is a key partner and funder of our Moray project.

We have a formal partnership with ARC Scotland, a national voluntary organisation which delivers our Customised Awards. We gain from their expertise as an SQA centre with specialist knowledge of accreditation for people with learning difficulties.

Lead operates extensively in cross sector local partnerships to reach people who are most excluded across local authority areas.

Lead provides specialist knowledge through many advisory groups and forums, e.g.  SG Disabled Student Advisory Group, CDN Access & Inclusion Forum, SQA Equality & Inclusion Key partners group.

Lead Scotland adheres to the Scottish fundraising code and we commit to being legal, open, honest and respectful in all our fundraising.
