Giving More Choices and More Chances to Young Carers in North Aberdeenshire
The group of young carers involved in the project proudly won a Youth Achievement Award presented by John Loughton, chair of Scottish Youth Parliament on 6th June.
Connon, Rachel, Andy and Shaunni produced a thought provoking DVD about their lives as young people and as young carers.
Val Smith, Lead Scotland Learning Co-ordinator, and Jane Gauld, Aberdeen Foyer, joined forces to work with young carers, supporting them to take time out from their caring responsbilities.
