Lead Scotland is looking for a new board member to join our team. We are keen to recruit an individual with a background in fundraising. Lead Scotland is at the beginning of a journey with fundraising and this is a great time to join us and be able to create an impact. We would suggest that prior experience of being a director is not essential but ask that you share a passion around the work we do and the people we support. The Board meet every quarter usually during the day in Perth or Edinburgh, you can claim out of pocket expenses for travel. If you think you have what we are looking for and can add value to a great team who are committed to making a difference in people’s lives then please get in touch.

When Lead Scotland connects disabled people and carers with learning opportunities good things happen! Every learner is supported to develop their own action plan and outcomes, resulting in a tailored and unique service from Lead. For example, we might engage, signpost and support a learner to take up opportunities within their own home, within a community setting or at college or we may work together with a learner to create a new learning opportunity. We loan devices and volunteers are on hand to support learners to achieve. We have a national helpline and information service and we encourage disabled people and carer to influence change at a national policy level, working to create a fairer, more inclusive Scotland. We have a very committed staff and volunteer team who pride themselves on making a difference.
