Our volunteers are fantastic. Each year learners and carers in Scotland gain qualifications, learn news skills and are able to make positive changes in their lives due to the dedication of our amazing volunteers.
Our volunteers are supported locally by their Learning Coordinator and nationally by our Engagement and Development Officer Gail Phillips who can be contacted on:
We provide basic training at the beginning of a volunteers time with us and have a lot of optional training available from Lead Scotland and our external partners for when our volunteers are ready such as:
If you volunteer with us at the moment and would like to sign up for any of the above training please speak to your Learning Coordinator or email Gphillips@lead.org.uk with details.
We know that our volunteers would also like to fundraise for us and this is fantastic! You can find out more details and ideas on our fundraising page.
Each year we survey our volunteers to ensure we are doing our best for our volunteers, this survey is advertised though our social media channels and will be sent to your directly. We also survey our volunteers when they move on from Lead Scotland and if you are a volunteer who is leaving us please take a few minutes to give us your views in our volunteer leaving survey. These two surveys allow Lead Scotland to make positive changes and give our volunteers the best experience possible.
