What does Lead Scotland do?

Lead Scotland has a team of staff and volunteers and our services act a bit like a bridge. We want you to gain skills, knowledge, and experience so that you can move confidently forward. Every project is slightly different, but the kind of services we offer are:

Impartial guidance: Our staff can visit you at home to make a plan to get started.

Computer loan: We could lend you a laptop or tablet so that you can learn and practice inbetween sessions.

One to one support: A staff member or volunteer can offer you one to one support to get started either learning in your home or in the community.

Small group support: we bring people together to learn, sometimes non formally and sometimes working towards a qualification.

Support if you want apply to college, university, to volunteer or you are looking for work.

Support to understand your right to education so that you feel confident to ask for your needs to be met.

On average people use our services for up to 9 months but it might longer or shorter than this depending on what you want to do.

Don't worry if you are not quite sure what you want to learn yet. Talking to us is the first step to focus in on what you want to do.

All our services are free and confidential.
