United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) applies to everyone under the age of 18 and will be enshrined in Scots Law. Its aim is to recognise the rights of children and ensure that they get the best start in life.
Lead Scotland uses the Child Rights and Wellbeing Impact Assessment process to ensure that our policies enable children and young people to flourish. We use a simplified tool to ask key questions: CRWIA template
