Coronavirus Update Lead Scotland Services

Last updated 20/07/2021, 11.00 am.

Coronavirus carries a high risk of harm. We are slowly phasing back to a blended approach, when it is safe to do so. Please check back to this page for updates about future changes.

  • HELPLINE: Our helpline is open as usual.
  • REMOTE: Staff members and volunteers can offer everyone remote support by phone, text, email, online and by post.
  • OUTDOORS: Staff and volunteers can meet people outdoors, risk assessed on a case by case basis.
  • INDOORS: Staff and volunteers can meet people indoors in regulated spaces such as local authority community centres by exception where this is essential, risk assessed on a case by case basis
  • HOME: We are not able to offer home visits at this time.
  • IT LOAN: Our IT loan scheme is open.

In April 2021 we surveyed learners about our future services: 5% said they’d like remote only services, 25% said face to face only, 70% said a blend of face to face and remote.

One learner said, “Having experienced Lead Scotland pre COVID and during it I think what you are doing is incredible.” We are doing our best, trying to deliver the best quality services that we can whilst keeping people safe. Thank you for your support.

Please contact your Coordinator about telephone or online support or call us at head office on 0131 228 9441.
