Fife Learning Project

What can the project offer me or someone I am working with?

Fife Learning Project works with adults over 16, resident in Fife, who identify as disabled; a carer; or have experienced barriers to learning. The project can help learners gain new skills, such as literacy or digital skills, and formal or non-formal qualifications. We have a great team of volunteers who can support learners one to one with whatever they wish to learn. We also offer support to small groups who meet at local accessible community venues. Our services are free, person centred and confidential.

How do I refer myself or someone I am working with?

You can contact Cáit O’Neill our local Learning Coordinator on 07741742418 or email fifeadultlearning@lead.org.uk with the contact details of the person you wish to refer. Alternatively, you can get in touch by completing the contact form for Fife project.

How can I volunteer to support this project?

We are always looking for more volunteers to support our projects. We have a range of roles that can suit your available time and experience. We can provide training, out of pocket expenses and opportunities to our volunteers which are as fulfilling as they are rewarding. For more information please see our volunteering page.

Quotes from our Fife learners, “I enjoyed doing the work and money exercises with the group” , “I feel I have got better with using money. I enjoyed the learning sessions”, “It was very good”, “Thank you for all your help!”

Quote from one of our Fife volunteers, “It is great. When you meet someone that is lacking in confidence and skills and you see them as a person blossoming, you can’t beat it!”.
